Hello dear Buck and Barbara,
It's Joana, Sandra's lifelong friend. She pointed the way to this website, and I am thrilled that you're now denizens of the webpage world (I wish I were, but that's coming)!
Sandra is about to celebrate her 50th birthday and we will meet her in Carmel, where she has gotten a place for a few nights, for dinner and visiting.
She warned me that she got the "Master" Trivial Persuit game...I know that if I attempt to play, my vast ignorance will be discovered. I can use good words, but know little!
I hope that we are able to meet once again. Perhaps July 4th?
By the way, I have a web page through a service called the "Care Pages." It is a wonderful, free, very user-friendly service for patients/ill people (or anybody else that has a challenge, such as expecting mothers, people living with physical conditions, etc.). Here is how you can get there:
go to www.carepages.com
go to "visit a Care Page"
sign in with name and e-mail address (VERY secure)
go to my page: holajoana (1 word)
There, you will get all of the lowdown about my life here in the Santa Cruz mountains.
I have started to sing with a jazz quartet on Saturdays...how wonderful to be back in the music again. To not sing is very difficult for me, and this gig was laid right into my lap.
Sending much love your way,
joana deBelkadi
